Trio Freshmen atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai Ichinen Trio terdiri dari Katsuo, Horio, dan Kachiro. Mereka bertiga teman dekatnya Ryoma. Mereka sering terlihat nge-chrees untuk Seigaku. Setiap pertandingan pasti ada mereka. Mereka paling hafal ama nama-nama 'jurus' para pemain. Jadi jangan takut lupa, ada mereka yang mengingatkan. Kadang-kadang jugag mereka yang kasih nama, kayak Boomerang Snake itu Horio yang kasih nama. Di antara mereka bertiga, Horio yang paling ribut. Ributnya Horio itu rival ama Tomoka. Jadi kalo mereka berdua udah gabung. telinga Sakuno, Katsuo ama Kachiro itu udah siap-siap 'tuli'. Mereka berdua jugag sering bertengkar. Horio sekelas ama Ryoma dan bajunya emang beda dari yang laen. Ayahnya Kachiro pelatih tenis. Pernah sekali mereka latihan tenis di tempat ayahnya Kachiro. Selain mereka, anggota non regular Seigaku jugag sering nge-cheers seperti Arai dkk.

A hand try to reach the cellphone that have been singing for a while. She recognize that famous song from Prince Of Tennis as her ringtone for call in. She didn't bother to see who called and just answer it.

Hello all.. How are you ? I bet u all are happy right now. It's Christmas after all. Who wouldn't happy in such a day? How is there? Snowy ? Or sunny ? Well, I decided this story weather is warm sunny. Since yesterday is snowy, right ? Well, I myself not celebrate Christmas. I'm buddhis. At my place, it just Christian that celebrate it. Well, I still wandering outside and searching for Ryoma-san number when I hear some tennis ball voice. I tempted to go and watch it. I really surprised to see who is he u know.

Author : Well, just wandering a little before working again.
Ryoma : U can't learn to take a break huh?

Thus I watch them play (Tezuka won) and we go to the Book store. Ryoma's parents haven't come back yet. And Tezuka family don't celebrate Christmas. So the two tennis maniac have the same thought to play tennis. We spent a long time in there searching for the book and magazine. After that, we go home. Not forget the Merry Christmas stuff. And I go back to work again.

At Ryoma house, all Seigaku regular gather and having party ! Well, today is Ryoma's birthday and also Christmas Eve. So, they decided to celebrate it together. Unfortunately (for Ryoma it's lucky) Ryoma's parents went to his grandparents place and Nanako have a date with her boyfriend. So, the house is completely theirs.

Momo : Can we eat it now?
Oishi : We can't, Momo. Taka-san hasn't complete all the dishes. Let's wait until he finished.

Thus Momo, Eiji, Kaidoh, and Ryoma play video game while Inui watch them (Inui : Lie data). Tezuka found an old Tennis Magazine and read it. Kawamura, Fuji and Oishi are busy in kitchen. Oishi frequently look the clock. Fuji somehow notice it.

Fuji : Oishi, what's up?
Oishi : #startled Ah, nothing. #busy himself
Fuji : Are u waiting for someone?
Oishi : Eh?
Kawamura : Well, the cake is not here too.
Oishi : #sigh I'm waiting for Author-san. She said she had time today and want to come here. She also said she wanted to buy the cake when I say we shortage of that. But she haven't arrive until now. I'm worried
Fuji : Hoo.. Don't worry, Oishi. She said she will come and she will. I trust her.
Kawamura : Yeah, Oishi. Don't worry about her. She also said it in Tezuka's message right?

After busy a while, the dishes are all completed at 8 o'clock. Oishi call them all. Momo and Kaidoh immediately stop the game (it's their turn) and walking to dinning table. Ryoma, Eiji, and Inui followed them. Tezuka is the last one. After confirm all have sit in the dinning table, he look at the clock and frowning. Oishi look at the same clock too. But Eiji is the one that voice their mind

Eiji : Author-chan haven't arrived yet nya~
Momo : Speaking of that, I think she already promised us, didn't she?
Ryoma : Yeah #a little disappointed.

Fuji : I think she will show up soon.
Oishi : Yeah, She just a little late.
Inui : Percentage that she late because of work is 90%

Tezuka walk to the door and open it. It's snowing outside. And cold. Tezuka keep watching outside. Somehow he can hear Eiji and Momo talking impatiently. Then he saw a white thing running. He is unsure because it snowing. Then he saw black haired girl running in that white jacket. She is carrying the cake, so she run carefully. Tezuka immediately wear his shoes and open the gate. He know it's her

Tezuka : Here #wave hand
Author : Tezuka-san. #run to him I'm sorry for late. It's hard to choose the cake.

Tezuka and Author walk to the house after Tezuka lock the gate again. They go to dinning room where the other were.

Eiji : Nya~ Oishi ! I want her here now nya~
Momo : Really, what's keep her so long ?
Kaidoh : Fshuuu..
Ryoma : How could her so late ? #irritated Let's give her some laps for being late.
Tezuka : Echizen !

After that, they sing Happy Birthday together for Ryoma and eating. The cake is indeed a great one. It's a Black Forest one. The white cream only cover half of it. It's written Happy Birthday on the top of it. It has a lot of chocolate balls too at the edge. It also has some Christmas miniature, like mini Santa Claus and Christmas tree. The cake is not too sweet that even Tezuka can eat it. It's simple but nice. They eat, talking randomly about everything. They enjoy the time. After finishing, they decided to play a game. It a Connecting Word game. They must say a word that the first letter is the last letter of the previous word. Like Cat-Tear-Room and continue it until someone false or said the same word twice. Of course to difficult it, they play in English (they're Japanese, remember ?) and only noun. They play it a long time until it's only Tezuka vs Ryoma vs Fuji (as excepted) Then Fuji false! (Eiji : He did it on purpose nya~) It's the duel between Ryoma & Tezuka. It so long and begin to use some difficult word that even Inui, Fuji, and Author don't understand it. Ryoma answer it fast. Tezuka open mouth to answer it again when he notice the clock.

Tezuka : It's late.
Ryoma : What ?
All : #look the clock
Kawamura : Yes, it is. And the dishes haven't washed yet.
Tezuka : Well, seem like we must stop it here, Echizen
Ryoma : #irritated Fine
Author : U're easily irritated today, u know. It will fun to tease u soon or later

Ryoma : Momo-senpai, don't say that u want too ?

Thus Momo, and Inui cleaning the dinning table. Oishi, Kawamura and Author wash all the dishes and clean the kitchen. Fuji and Kaidoh tidy the living room where they play earlier. Tezuka help Ryoma take the video game to the latter room and help connect it again (It's Tezuka that connect it in living room, u know). After that, they help Kawamura clean and put the sushi plate in the box again. The leftover cake they keep in for Ryoma family. After 30 minutes busy, it's finished.

Tezuka : Let's head home, Minna.
Author : But let's closed it together first, Kay ?

Ryuuzaki-sensei (biasa dipanggil) adalah pelatih dan guru di Seigaku. Dia sudah melatih tenis di sini selama lebih dari 25 tahun (O_o!) Dan memang begitu. Echizen Nanjirou (ayah Ryoma) jugag diajar olehnya. Karena Ryuuzaki-sensei kita inilah Nanjirou mau serius di tennis dan sampai ke tingkat Pro. Ryuuzaki-sensei jugag ada rival, Banji pelatih Yamabuki. Konon ini dimulai saat masanya Nanjirou. Ryuuzaki-sensei itu disiplin, kayak Tezuka dan sukak teriak. Tapi semua tetap hormat samanya. Karena anak muridnya  (baca:anak regular) keras kepala semua, jadi nasihatnya kebanyakan gak didengar. Ryuuzaki-sensei jugag menghargai kemampuan anak muridnya dan ndak mau menghalangi pertumbuhan (karir) mereka. Kayak kasus Tezuka pas mau berobat dan progam beasiswanya. Ryomanya aja yang ngelupain dia (gak baek itu, Ryoma). Dan sangaaat jelas ama yang lain kalo Sakuno itu sukak ama Ryoma. Ryoma. Mungkin cuma Ryoma yang gak tahu (-_- ). Dia itu kalo gak jagain adiknya, pasti udah datang buat nge-cheers Seigaku di pertandingan bersama Trio Freshmen dan Sakuno.

 Momoshiro adalah orang pertama yang bertemu Ryoma

 Momoshiro sukak film tentang hewan, Shounen Jump (weekly) ama musik grup.

 Momoshiro susah (payah) dalam baca peta (Geografi buruk nih -_-)

Momoshiro itu friendly, easy going, ramah, cepat emosi dan pantang menyerah. Dia itu baik dan ramah ama juniornya sekalipun. Tapi dia itu sering bertengkar dengan Kaidoh. Biasanya dia cuma ngejek dikit aja, terus Kaidoh ndak terima dan mulailah pertengkaran mereka. Menurut Oishi, pertengkaran mereka ini udah dimulai sejak kelas 1 dan terus 'mulus' ampe sekarang. Tapi sejak kelas 3, sepertinya udah mulai agak pudar dilahat dari mereka bekerja sama sebagai Kapten (Kaidoh) dan Wakil (Momoshiro).

Momoshiro awalnya pemain Singles. Biasanya Singles 1 ato 2. Dia pertama maen Doubles itu ama Ryoma. Menang sih menang, tapi tetap aja dihukum ama Ryuuzaki Sensei. Dia jugag maen Doubles di lapangan tenis jalanan (Street Tennis Court) ama Ryoma. Kebalikan dari Ryoma, Momoshiro makin pandai dan menguasai Doubles. Akhirnya, dia sering maen Doubles ama Eiji, Kaidoh dan Kawamura.   

Momoshiro dulunya punya kebiasaan menilai lawan dari penampilan. Hal ini mempengaruhi cara mainnya. Beberapa kali dia terjerumus jurang sendiri karena sifatnya ini tetapi untungnya masih tetap bisa menang. Ujung-ujungnya, dia kalah dari Tezuka dan Inui karena hal ini dan lengser dari regular. Dia gak datang latihan beberapa hari membuat Oishi khawatir dan ujungnya bertengkar dengan Eiji. Tapi dia tetap maen tenis di lapangan tenis jalanan. Akhirnya setelah bermain dengan adik Tachibana dari Fudomine, Ann dan Ryoma datang ke sana, dia balik latihan dengan hukuman lari 100 keliling dari Tezuka Buchou. Sejak itu, dia merubah kebiasaannya dan bermain lebih baik lagi.

Momoshiro bilang sendiri, dia itu dapat bermain dengan kondisi terbaik kalau dia tenang. Dia jugag sebenarnya dapat membaca gerakan lawan dari gerakan, ekspresi dan pandangan lawan. Hal ini awalnya dia tidak tahu, sampe pas Nasional dia sadar dan mulai mengasahnya. Dengan kemampuannya ini dia 'permainkan' lawannya dan membuat mereka bingung. Kadang-kadang bersama Kaidoh, terutama pas ngelawan Shitenhouji. Karenanya mereka dapat julukan Seigaku Tricker

Momoshiro adalah salah satu teman yang dekat dengan Ryoma, selain Horio, Katsuo dan Kachiro (mungkin). Mereka sering bermain tenis bersama dan makan Burger (kadang ditraktir ama Eiji, kena paksa). Momoshiro jugag (mungkin, belum pasti y) ada perasaan ama Tachibana Ann #ehm ehm.  Tapi Kamio dari Fudomine jugag sukak ama Ann. Tambah deh satu rival lagi. Ann pun sudah tahu tentang hal ini dan kadang mempermainkan mereka berdua (nonton eps 71 It's A Date !)

Momoshiro dekat dengan Eiji. Momoshiro jugag terlihat mengadopsi kebiasaan Eiji memeluk Ryoma dari belakang dan mempraktekannya. Jadinya Ryoma harus latihan menahan napas kalo masih pengen hidup di bawah pelukan mereka berdua. Momoshiro jugag nangkap sesuatu hal sama lambannya dengan Eiji. Biasanya dia dijelasin ama Ryoma tao gak Fuji. Kadang jugag sama Inui.

Momoshiro punya beberapa jurus. Yang pertama Dunk Smash. Smash satu ini punya kekuatan di atas rata-rata anak SMP. Momoshiro punya kebiasaan bilang "Don" setelah smash ini. Super Dunk Smash adalah upgrade dari Dunk Smash. Awalnya namanya itu Super Great Momoshiro Special. Gakuto dan anak Hyotei lainnya serta Seigaku yang pertama mendengarnya merasa nama itu payah. Setelah di-complain, akhirnya berubah jadi Super Dunk. Momoshiro jugag ada Jack Knife, backhand yang cepat, kuat dan level tinggi serta upgradenya, Black Jack Knife. Selain itu ada, Insight dan Prediction (baca gerakan lawan)
